| Someone tell me why I can stay at a Hampton Inn or Holiday Inn Select and get excellent high speed Internet included in the room rate (not mention breakfast), yet at a medium to luxe hotel I have to pay $10-20 per night. Let's not even get into these fees across the pond. Yeah, yeah, I know I'm paying for the increased customer services but I'm also paying a higher room rate. Is it that hotels are leasing out the Internet service? In that case, they are surely taking a cut of the action. These hotel "profit centers" really bug me! | |
