About ConventionSouth

The South's leading meetings industry magazine since 1983, ConventionSouth provides invaluable how-to features, keeping meeting planners up-to-date with destination profiles, meeting news, trade show venue information, meeting planner profiles and more--everything they need to get the most out of events they hold in the South!

ConventionSouth is published by Covey Communications Corp, the 25-year-old company responsible for numerous nationally-distributed magazines for targeted markets. Among Covey's other titles are SportsEvents, the magazine for planners of all types of sports events held throughout the United States, Condo Owner magazine (Alabama/Mississippi/Perdido Key and Florida editions), Coastal Design, a high-end home magazine, and Crossties magazine, an internationally known railroad industry publication.

In May 2005, Covey Communications purchased the 523-page Skater's Edge Sourcebook, and has also produced two additional sports facilities directories, The Soccer Fields & Facilities Directory and The Baseball/Softball Fields and Facilities Directory. Covey also produced S.P.O.R.T.S Institute, an educational conference and trade show for sports events planners.
