Downtown Atlanta Recovers Quickly After Tornado Strikes
ATLANTA (March 26)—Atlanta is open for business, said Spurgeon Richardson, president/CEO of Atlanta Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB), days after a severe storm swept through the Atlanta area. The storm was said to have produced multiple tornados, one of which passed through downtown Atlanta—the first in history to do so—on March 14, and caused significant structural damage to several buildings.
