To accommodate for air travel, Spirit Airlines, Porter Airlines and Direct Airlines have added additional flights to the area. Spirit features non-stop daily service from Washington, D.C., Reagan National Airport, four weekly flights from Plattsburg, N.Y., and Latrobe, Pa., and three weekly flights from Niagara Falls, N.Y., and Charleston, W.V. As the only airline providing service to Canada, Porter is extending non-stop flights from Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport after successful seasons during the winter and spring. Direct Airlines recently added twice-weekly, non-stop service on Thursdays and Sundays between Myrtle Beach, Hagerstown, Md., and Lakeland, Fla. |
