For a number of years now, the city of San Antonio has been a growing, vibrant destination investing millions into its convention infrastructure and cultural appeal. As the city enters 2012, it continues its quest to stay ahead of the market showcasing a number of new enhancements to entice visitors—most centered around the city’s renowned River Walk.
“We are a community that is built around hospitality. We love to make people feel at home while they are experiencing one of the most culturally rich and historic cities in the United States,” said Casandra Mateq, executive director of the San Antonio Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB). “In fact, I hear quite often that San Antonio is an easy place to do business because of the camaraderie among our hospitality community.”
